Infinite Variations by Lilybank School
Infinite Variations is a 9-screen non-linear video piece in which 90 short videos are selected randomly by a computer programme to be displayed on a 9-screen video wall.
After working with the children for a number of weeks Drake Music Scotland filmed them playing Soundbeams, Switches, Keyboards and an array of beautiful percussion instruments. These videos were then edited to capture the most interesting performances. When the computer programme is started it randomly selects the videos to be shown on the 9 screens so no two performances are ever the same!
