Folk Music from East and West Unites in Scotland

Writers awarded Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship
Five Scottish-based writers have been awarded the Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship, giving them the opportunity to spend at least one month at the Hôtel Chevillon at Grez-sur-Loing in France to concentrate on a new writing project.

Aberdeen Art Gallery hosts homecoming Venice Biennale exhibition
A homecoming exhibition featuring the work of six of Scotland’s most exciting and innovative artists, selected to represent the country at this year’s 52nd Venice Biennale, will be unveiled to the public on Saturday (1 December) at Aberdeen Art Gallery.

Another Tune Up season set to take Scotland by storm
Following the success of last year’s programme which featured World Music sensations, Tinariwen and homegrown talent such as King Creosote and Julie Fowlis, a new season of Scottish Arts Council Tune Up tours, funded by the National Lottery, has been unveiled.
