This brief review of selected literature was carried out by Susan Galloway (University of Glasgow). It provides a brief review of selected literature covering the impact of the arts and culture grouped according to the Scottish Government’s five strategic objectives (wealthier and fairer; healthier; safer and stronger; smarter; greener). Gaps in the literature are also highlighted.
