Crafts funding priorities – what funds are available?

Crafts Exhibitions

We aim to improve the ambition and distribution of crafts exhibitions shown, initiated and circulated in Scotland. 

Potential applicants are encouraged to discuss their project with our Crafts Officer

Minimum £500 - maximum £5,000

Fast-track applications will be accepted throughout the year

Curatorial and Programme Development

The deadline for this fund for 2008-09 has now passed.  However, as part of the wider Curatorial Professional Development Initiative, Crafts department will be devising a programme of assisted professional development opportunities in 2008/09.  The purpose is to support the development of a greater network of curatorial expertise towards improving presentation of contemporary crafts across Scotland.  Please contact Crafts Officer for further details.

Deadline for 2008/09 has passed.


Organisations can also apply for funds for: Audience Development, and Organisational Development funding.  See funding information across artforms for details.  Organisations may also be eligible to apply for Capital funding.
