Professional Development
|
We support individual artists in most artforms to undertake professional development activities relevant to their artistic practice. We also support arts practitioners working at a professional level within the arts in Scotland, and their role in the development of the sector.
For further information, please see the Funding Across Artforms section of the website.
|
Applications accepted at any time but must be submitted at least 4 weeks before the project start date. |
A number of local authorities and development agencies operate regional schemes for crafts makers and visual artists across Scotland in partnership with the Scottish Arts Council. These grants normally range from £250 - £1,500.
Please note that you may apply either to the Scottish Arts Council or local authority for your project – you cannot apply to both simultaneously for the same project.
