Joan Macdonald - Head of Grants
Joan Macdonald is Head of Grants. She began her career in administration with Glasgow City Council in 1975, where she worked in a variety of roles. In 1988, she relocated to Edinburgh and took up a post with Midlothian Council, becoming manager of the Housing Benefits team in 1989.
She joined the Scottish Arts Council in February 1997 as Group Administrative Officer, managing administrative support to the Creative Arts Group. In April 2001, she became Grants Administrator for Visual Arts, Crafts, and some cross council activities. In March 2004, she was appointed as Head of Grants Administration. |
