The purpose of the Own Art scheme is to encourage more people to buy works of contemporary art and craft.

We are currently accepting applications from galleries who wish to join the scheme on an ongoing basis.

When a gallery becomes a member of Own Art it will be listed with all member galleries on the Own Art pages of the Scottish Arts Council's website. Member galleries will also be expected to promote Own Art through their own marketing material. The Own Art logo can be downloaded for this purpose.

If you are a member of the scheme, you can download the logo here. It is extremely important that you read the Visual Identity guidelines which explain how the brand must be used.

Own Art is promoted on a national level in partnership with Arts Council England. Member galleries are expected to include Own Art as part of their own marketing activity.
