Workshops

Fionna's company has been delivering high quality workshops over the years with the help of a Scottish Arts Council lottery grant and partnership funders. The five-day workshops continue during both the Edinburgh International Jazz and Blues Festival and Glasgow International Jazz Festivals.  They offer tuition in repertoire, phrasing, technique, working with a band, listening, interpretation, and self-promotion. They continue to be the only five-day workshops dedicated to vocal jazz in Europe and attract students from all over the world.

Partnerships

The Fionna Duncan workshops are grateful to their partners, including the Councils of Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth and West Lothian; the Musicians' Union; Assembly Direct; Olive May Millen and all their past and present students and teachers.
