The 14th annual Poetry Day celebrates the theme of dreams on Thursday 4 October across the UK. Readers of all ages will be enjoying poetry on this date, with a huge range of events planned in Britain's four capital cities.

The Scottish part of the tour will be represented by Robert Crawford, who will be reading his own work with special reference to this year's theme of Dreams.

Gwyneth Lewis will be representing Wales, Ireland will be represented by Gearòid Machlachlainn with Patience Agbabi representing Engand.

The Dream Tour

The National Poetry Day Dream Tour arrives in Edinburgh on Wednesday 3 October, with the line-up appearing at the scottish Storytelling Centre at 7.30pm. This will be a unique opportunity to hear all the four national poets perform together.
